My Dutch grandma, Bep, visited us in Dunaföldvár. She arrived on the 15th Oct and left on the 20th. I was glad to see her again. While she was at us, Daddy had his annual 10SC weekend in Belgium. In the photo on the right he's leaving.
I had a nice time with grandma. She was extremely happy to see me after a month. We did lots of things together. Mummy tried to collect some of the nicest pictures which were taken during the 'ladies' weekend' in Dunaföld
vár.Every day I was looking forward to waking up in the morning and meeting Oma. She slept in the guest house and came to us at around 9 a.m. We had breakfast together.
Here we're in the kitchen. I'm eating a piece of roll.
On Friday Mummy had a day off. :-) She took the bus to Dunaújváros to do some shopping. She bought me a nice hat and a headband. You can see them in the pictures.
The pink winter coat was a present from grandma.
Grandma often took me for a walk either to the city centre or to the Danube. Here I'm saying goodbye to Mummy.
When we were at home, we read my books in Dutch, sorry, in Limburg. :-) We played a lot and I showed grandma everything that I could do at that time. (I've made progress since her visit!!!)
Reading in my own language, showing and imitating animals, new positions, standing up everywhere and walking along the furniture, interested in watching tales on TV, tasting everything, ...
Grandma loved being with me!!! I also enjoyed her stay here.
I also showed her how I could climb up the stairs.
Here I'm showing grandma how skillful I am in unloading the big toybox. Then we're tasting Mummy's cake. Oh, Uncle Peter, you don't know what you missed! :-) It was delicious!
I liked that Oma was always around me. She walked with me, too.
In the evening it was Beppie who gave me a bath.
I was always so tired by the evening...
But at least Mummy could relax a little bit :-)
Daddy arrived home on Monday evening. I was happy to see him again... and he was glad to meet ME!!! That evening my parents could go to the restaurant as grandma offered to look after me.
Time passed very quickly and on Tuesday Grandma had to fly back to Holland. We accompanied her to the bus station...
I was a little bit sad to say goodbye to her. It was nice to have her in Dunaföldvár.
I was always so tired by the evening...

Anyway, we'll meet soon as we're travelling to the Netherlands on the 6th of November and we'll stay for more than 2 weeks at her. It'll be fun! I can chase the cats and also collect some presents. :-) Oh, and everybody will spoil ME! Can you imagine how nice it is to be the smallest in the family???
Grandma calls us frequently, 2-3 times a week to make some inquires about me. I like listening to her; I can recognize her voice. :-)

ps. Oh, I've almost forgotten to mention that my first tooth came out on the 17th of October. I was exactly 10 months old.
