Bep's and Peter's stay in Hungary (2nd-15th June)

On the 2nd of June (Tuesday) Daddy wanted to talk to me. He whisperred in my ears that we were going to have 2 guests from the Netherlands: Grandma Beppie and Uncle Peter. First I seemed to be a little bit indifferent, but later on I got quite excited and was really looking forward to their visit in the evening.

While they were staying at us in the guest house, we did lots of things together. Mummy tried to select several photos which show some of our programmes and activities and illustrate quite well how nice time we spent together in Hungary. So this picture was taken in the car. We drove to Székesfehérvár, where Roland had his school leaving ceremony. I was having my morning nap in the nice air-co car... wearing my new frilly hat, which was bought by Beppie in Slovenia. It was very warm... zonnig en zwoel weer. :-) While my parents were listening to some speeches, Grandma was looking after me.

We took some nice photos... as usual.

Then we went to the Brendon Baby Shop to get me a baby carrier.

Well, it's not that awful any more... We've already used it several times.

After that we visited a famous restaurant (Diófa) in Székesf. to have lunch. As I'm always a good girl, I let everybody eat their lunch in a relaxed way.

I was happy to get home after the tiring morning. I prayed for nice weather for the next day as I wanted to visit the beach in Dunaföldvár.
And it came true. So on Sunday we walked to the beach to swim and sunbathe for the first time this year. Look at my new swimming suit! Guess who it is from. Yes, a fantastic present from Beppie again!!! I'm like a little model in this picture. :-)

I had fun in the baby pool with Daddy and Mummy... The water was nice and cool, crystal clear, ... No, nobody was afraid of getting some kind of infection!

Then I entertained myself on my colourful playing mat. Meanwhile Peter was reading a little bit further.

After that I asked Mummy to sit in the swing together. I enjoyed it so much!

While my parents were swimming, Grandma was looking after me, taking me for a walk, ...

When I wasn't sleeping any more, she played with me with pleasure.

As I got some new toys from Peter and Beppie, I tried to play with them, too. Peter took some nice photos of us. Have a look at them.

Grandma wanted me to sit by myself, so she tried to teach me how to balance with my hands.

Sometimes we went shopping together. :-) We visited the KIKA to buy the curtains, the IKEA to get a billy, ...

Not only my GP, but also my Grandma convinced Mummy to put me in the middle of the bedroom on a big blanket to make me move around. And look what happened when they came to check me. I was in a completely different part of the room. It was the first time I moved that far. (Soon I'll visit Daddy in his office:-))

Later we had lots of fun in the terrace of the guest house.

Beppie also amused me a lot. Look how cute we are in this picture. We can have fun together soon in less than 2 weeks time when we travel to Holland. I think she will be surprised at the progress I have made since she saw me!

Well, you can see in the pictures how I enjoyed the time which I spent with my Grandma and Uncle Peter.

This photo was taken the last night we spent together over a glass of wine and some cakes after Mummy and Daddy had come home from the restaurant where they had a romantic dinner for the first time since I was born. :-)

On Monday morning they had to leave Dunaföldvár. I was a little bit sad...
When they came to say goodbye, I started to cry desperately. Then Mummy gave me a hug and told me that we would meet soon again. :-)

Well, these were some of the things we did together. Of course, I could mention that Grandma helped us with the cleaning, ironing, gardening, altering some clothes and sewing the CURTAINS for the living room.

Anyway, the highlight of their stay at us was the FAMILY WEEKEND in Slovenia. So let's continue the story line with that soon. :-)))
