A nice weekend with Willy and Jos

Well, before You start reading the story, prepare something to eat and drink next to the computer as it's going to be quite long. Anyway, I hope You will enjoy it! :-)

After helping Mummy to pack everything for the weekend, we started our trip to Pécs. The intention was to show a nice part of Hungary to my Dutch relatives which I would also enjoy. We had a hotel room in the centre of Pécs. This fantastic family photo was taken there. I'm always very happy when I can join my parents and enjoy everything together with them.
All these pictures were taken in the hotel.

We spent our first evening in Pécs. We had a short walk in the centre and then we dropped in a restaurant to drink something and have dinner.
I tasted Mummy's ice coffee... it was really delicious!!!

Next day we went sightseeing. The weather was very hot.
We had a walk in Széchenyi square where we visited the Mosque of Gazi Kasim Pasha.
After that we found the 'Lockwall' on our way to the Dóm square. Mummy surprised everybody as she had bought 2 padlocks in advance. She always prepares for the sightseeing tours. :-)
So we placed our cute little padlocks here.

Then we continued our sightseeing tour to Dóm Square where we saw the Bishop's Palace, visited the beautiful cathedral and Barbican Garden with the circular tower.

I got so exhausted that at around 11.30 I fell asleep. Here I'm having my morning nap in the pushchair. While I was sleeping, the others had a look at the Zsolnay Fountain and the beautiful National Theatre. They also had an ice-cream.
After the delicious ice-cream we went up the Misina Hill (534m), where we could enjoy the nice view on Pécs and its surroundings from the TV Tower.
In the café we had some cold mineral water. It was great for me to come out from the 'kenguru' for a while.

Here is a nice family photo of us. The next few photos were taken in Abaliget. There is a fishing lake, a boating lake and a nice stalactite cave.

As it was extremely warm outside,
I was really looking forward to go into the cave in the baby carrier. Although it was forbidden, Daddy managed to take a photo of me and Mummy in the cave.

It was fun for everybody to walk in the stalactite cave. Especially me and Jos had lots of fun. :-) Our next stop was Villánykövesd where we stayed in a nice hotel (Hotel Cabernet) close to the wine cellars.

Look! Willy, Jos and Daddy are tasting some wine here.
The next photo was taken in the restaurant of the hotel which looked fantastic. My parents and the guests had dinner there.
Jos is eating his favourite goulash soup here :-)))

It was great to have a hotel room where there was no bathtub as I could stand under the shower with my Daddy.
Then I was put into bed... I can sleep everywhere! In the meantime the adults were sitting outside enjoying a cold drink and each other's company. :-)

In the morning we had breakfast in the hotel.I was a good girl, as usual. :-)
Here I'm in the terrace of the hotel with Mummy enjoying standing with her help.
We followed the Villány-Siklós wine road, Hungary's first wine route. In Villány we stopped for a little while. We visited the Wine Museum where we also bought some delicious wine.

All these photos were taken in the museum.

Our next destination was Siklós with its 15th-century castle.

Then we travelled to Harkány to enjoy the famous Thermal Bath.

This picture was taken in the car on our way home. After having fun on the beach, it was nice to relax a little bit.
Actually that was our nice weekend we could enjoy together with Willy and Jos.
During their stay in Hungary, we had quite some fun. Sometimes Willyplayed with me, gave me some dessert...
