My general check-up

Hi, I'm here again. In the morning today I had an appointment at the surgery for a general check-up. So after having my fruit bowl, Mummy took me to the nurse. When we arrived, I had a quick look around, but I didn't know any babies or toddlers in the waiting-room.
Then my district nurse appeared and I gave her my little book after teasing her.

After that Mummy took off my clothes and made me sit on the scales. Then she removed my nappy, too and the nurse measured me. I was almost 8 kilos. (7.95 exactly) It means that I gained 25 dkg in 2 weeks.

Then my length was measured. It's still 66cm. at least I didn't shrink. :-)
When we entered the consulting-room, my GP was happy to see me again. She listened to my lungs, tickled me everywhere while she was checking my organs and asked Mummy what kind of things and movements I could do. After that she inquired about my eating habits and told Mummy not to give me the delicious 'papje' for dinner, but vegetables, because they contain less calories. Now she thinks I'm putting on too much weight. First she made me older by saying that I was already 9 months old, then she said I was fat. So she didn't score any points today!!! Oh, yes, she did. She praised Mummy for her appearance. :-)

After getting dressed and checking my book I was glad to leave the surgery. I was looking forward to eating my lunch. :-)

At home Mummy prepared my lunch; she mixed some baby carrots, broccoli, potatoes and chicken breast.
I was longing for having lunch... Look at the portion in the bowl!

In this picture you can see how much I'm enjoying my substantial dish.
It was so tasty and I was so hungry that I ate it all.

Then I was offered a bit of water...

After washing my hands, me and Mummy were reading on the sofa in the living-room when I heard her mobile phone.
I did my best to get it and check the message. Daddy wrote us that he had finished the meeting in Brugge and was already on the way to Brussels. Unfortunately I'll only see him tomorrow.

After 1 pm I was in my bed preparing for the afternoon nap.
I wasn't tired at all. :-))) Can you see it?

So I played a little bit... did some exercises until I got tired.

Then I thought it was time to fall asleep and let Mummy relax behind the computer writing this story.

I hope you liked it. Bye-bye! See you soon! :-)
