Family weekend: Day 2 (BLED)

On the second day of the family weekend our first stop was in Bled. It's a beautiful place with a nice lake surrounded by mountains. We read that this place would be worth visiting, so we decided to spend the first half of the day in Bled. On the way there I played with Grandma, then I had my morning nap in the car.

First we visited the castle. It's about 100meters above the lake, at the top of a steep rock. We parked the car and walked up to the castle. It was a good morning exercise. Anyway, we gained some experience the previous day by visiting the castle in Ljubljana.

It was great to watch Daddy's face from the pushchair... sweaty forehead with a naughty smile, especially when Mummy looked at him. The weather was nice, most of the time sunny, but windy. Here we are! It was a nice castle with a museum in the main building. Daddy, Mummy and Peter visited the exhibition inside...

In the meantime Grandma was looking after me. She talked to me and made me smile continuously. Then Mummy looked after me to let Grandma have a look at the castle inside.

When I got hungry, I was breastfed. Then Daddy made me burp. Look at Peter's face!!! He also enjoyed my being around a lot.

As there was a fantastic view from the castle to the lake with the little island, we decided to take some photos. Here they are!

And... Here I am, too. The lake in the background had various colours due to the changes in the sky. When it got cloudy, it became darker as you can see it in the photo below.

We also managed to take a nice family photo with the 5 of us by putting on the self-timer of the camera.

After posing a lot, we continued our TOUR the CASTLE. :-) Daddy was happy to find a wine cellar...

Then I was taken up the stairs to admire the view from a higher point. I enjoyed it so much!!!

After that we took some more pictures. Here they are.

Then Beppie bought an ice-cream for everybody. I could also taste it; it was delicious!!!

After eating some ice-cream on Daddy's lap, I was very satisfied. I was cutely playing with a pebble until everybody finished eating their 'elevenses'.

When we saw everything in the castle, we walked back to the car.

I was happy to be out of the pushchair for a while as I could enjoy seeing everything much more in this way. And... Daddy could strengthen his muscles. :-))) When he got tired, I was put back to my 'car'.

While we were going down the castle hill, I was wondering what was going to happen. You will see it soon. :-))) Patience...
